Who are you?

A writer and artist, and a mom to two little girls. 

Where do you live? 

Rensselaerville. 

Where are you from originally, and how did you get here? 

I’m from Cambridge, MA, but before I moved upstate I lived in Brooklyn for 16 years. That’s where I met my husband, who had a house with a friend in Oak Hill. We visited a lot during Covid, and when I was pregnant with our first daughter, we bought our place in Rensselaerville and moved up here full-time. 

Have you been anywhere cool recently?  

Big Towel traveling sauna, currently in Germantown. I drew a comic about my first trip, if anyone is interested, and I took my husband for his birthday. Do the cold plunge!

What do you do for fun? 

Drive around with my family. I also like to run, draw, knit, and read novels.

Have you eaten any good meals lately? 

The new Be Golden Farms pizza restaurant here in Rensselaerville is great, and their space is gorgeous. 

What are you looking forward to this year?

Opening our taco truck, Tom Pablo’s Taqueria, at Locust Grove in Oak Hill this spring, hopefully!
